【摘要】:Thispracticedefinesvarioustypesofbituminouspavingconstructionforwhichcutbackasphaltmaybeused.Inaddition,itdelineatesthetypesandgradesrecommendedforeachspecificuse.Thispracticeprovidesthebasicconceptsonwhichtheuserecommendationshavebeenmade.Italsoprovidesarationalebywhichtheusermayjudiciouslyselectamaterialforaspecificjobapplicationfromamongthosegenerallyrecommended.1.1Thispracticecoverstheselectionofcutbackasphaltsoftheslow,medium,andrapidcuringtypesforvariouspavingandallieduses.Slow-curingcutbackasphaltsarealsocalledroadoils.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
