【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecommoncommunicationprotocol(CCP)layerthatiscapableofprovidinginteroperabilityandinterconnectivitybetweenheterogeneousnetworktechnologies,aswellasthebasicdatatransmissionschemebetweendeviceslinkedtoheterogeneousnetworksthroughtheCCPlayer.ThestandardalsospecifiesthepacketstructureintheCCPlayerandthecommonaddressingschemethatcanbeunderstoodamongheterogeneousdevices.Furthermore,therearespecificationsregardingprotocolscapableofprovidingdiversehomenetworkapplicationsthroughtheCCPlayersuchasthehomenetworkmanagementprotocol(HNMP),universalhomecontrolprotocol(UHCP),homemultimediaserviceprotocol(HMSP)andhomedataserviceprotocol(HDSP).NOTEHNMPistheoverallhomenetworkmanagementprotocolthatdetectsorregistersdevices.UHCPcontrolsandmonitorsdevicesfromremotelocations.HMSPistheA/Vprotocolforhomeentertainmentservices.HDSPdealswithdataandmessagingservices.Thisstandardistobeappliedtosystemswithnetworkcapabilitiesandthosethatconstitutehomenetworkssuchaselectronicappliances,A/Vcomponents,controldevices,networkterminalsandhomeservers.Moreover,thisstandardisapplicabletoahomenetworkconsistingofasinglehomeserver.ThisInternationalStandardgives–adefinitionoftheCCPlayer,–adatatransmissionschemeintheCCPlayer,–aCCPpacketstructure,–aCCPaddressingscheme,–ahomenetworkmanagementprotocol(HNMP),–auniversalhomecontrolprotocol(UHCP),–ahomedataserviceprotocol(HDSP),–requirementsofhomemultimediaserviceprotocol(HMSP).Ahomenetworkprovidesinteroperabilityandinterconnectivityregardlessoftheappliancemanufacturerorthenetworktypesothattheuserisabletoreceivedesiredservicesatanypointintime.However,currenthomenetworktechnologieshaveindependentcommunicationprotocollayerstructures,asshowninFigure1,withdifferentaddressingschemes,datatransmissionschemes,dataprocessingmethodsanddataformats.Inordertosolveproblemsassociatedwithinteroperabilityandinterconnectivityamongheterogeneousnetworktechnologies,thisstandardaimstodefinetheCCPlayerasatypeofaconvergencelayer.Furtherobjectivesofthisstandardincludespecifyingthedatatransmissionmethod,packetstructureandcommonaddressingschemeaswellasthesignalingprotocolforprovidinghomenetworkmanagement,control,A/Vanddataservices.
